History

Decorative Prescriptions started 7 years ago in 2000 and had it's grand opening of it's new retail store in June 2007.  Our decorators work primarily in Cypress and the surrounding NW Houston areas.  Our goal is to focus on your specific needs by listening and collaborating with you.  We don't create our style in your home, instead we try to find your unique style and assist you in turning your house into a home you can be proud of and enjoy.  Our goal is to mix old (what you have) with new (what we can bring to you) to create a transitional space instead of a model home look.  We especially love to incorporate family heirlooms, pieces with sentimental value and your personal pictures for art on the walls so your home reflects your personality, style and interests.  Of course we can start with a clean slate and come up with a new plan for your space if that's what you prefer, but will  also work with what you already have and add to it to give it a facelift and an updated look. 

So if all you need is a re-design or would like brand  new design, we are ready to work within your budget weather it is small or large. 

Appointments are available Mondays and Tuesdays and some evenings and weekends.  We would love the opportunity to work with you and make your dreams a reality.
